This is a loudness/mastering example only, not a noise-repair or editing demo. The source is the first 30 seconds of our own voiceover demo, which was published at a quiet −22.5 LUFS. The “after” is the same clip brought up to podcast loudness with ffmpeg (gain plus a peak limiter) and saved as a mono MP3. Both files were measured with ffmpeg’s EBU R128 meter.

The 48-hour clock starts once a clean, playable file is in hand (if your link doesn’t work, we’ll tell you and the clock waits). The mastered MP3 arrives by email. This service does one thing well: take a finished mixed file and bring it to consistent podcast loudness. It is not a recording studio. We will never improvise beyond the list below. If your audio needs it, we’ll hand it back rather than fake it.
Never promised:
- Multitrack mixing: send one mixed file, not separate tracks.
- Speaker-by-speaker leveling: we master the whole mix, not individual voices.
- EQ judgment / creative EQ decisions, no subjective tone-shaping.
- Noise repair, plosive or filler-word removal: damaged audio stays damaged.
- Music placement or editorial judgment: your edit decisions stay yours.
- Automatic pause shortening or de-clipping: pauses are preserved; clipped audio can’t be reconstructed.
The master is collapsed to mono.
Questions, answered.
Will this fix my noisy recording?
No. Noise repair isn’t part of this service. If your audio needs serious repair, we’ll tell you before we start, since mastering can’t fix heavy damage. This is for recordings that are already decent and need to sound professional.
Do you remove ums, uhs, and long pauses?
Only cuts you mark with timestamps. Automatic pause shortening and filler-word removal aren’t offered, and pauses are deliberately preserved in the master.
Can you mix my separate interview tracks?
No, this is a single mixed-file service. Mix your tracks down to one file first, then send it.
What if I need changes after delivery?
One revision per order: mastering level, your marked cuts, or correction of our error. New timestamps, changed minds, or anything on the never-promise list aren’t included.
What does −16 LUFS mean?
It’s the loudness target podcast platforms expect: your episode plays at the same perceived volume as professional shows, without pumping or distortion.
